Demonline
Demonline is a catalogue of physical and virtual demonstrations for teaching undergraduate physics that I created under the direction of Prof. Andy Buffler.
First Course in Differential Equations
For the UNC course MATH383: First Course in Differential Equations, I’ve developed Python scripts with online tutorials for:
- Numerical Approximations to First Order ODEs
- Visualisation of Solutions to Systems of First Order ODEs
Outreach and Mentoring
The following are some great outreach and mentoring programs that I’ve been fortunate to work with:
- The Ubunye TeachOut project, which provides tutoring and mentoring for disadvantaged students in Cape Town.
- Siyavula, which is an organisation that develops open textbooks and digital course materials for primary and secondary schools in South Africa.
- Carolina Navigators, a UNC Center for Global Initiatives program that provides global teaching resources for school teachers in North Carolina.
- UNC’s CAP Summer REU Program, which is an REU for rising juniors and seniors in computational astronomy and physics.
